The Centurion Solar Controller 12/24V 20A is part of the ESOLRPG020V0 series of solar charge controllers that has been designed to be economic, practical, simple and easy to use as well as aesthetically pleasing.
FEATURES OF THE CENTURION SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER:
- Battery voltage is measured intuitively thanks to the built-in battery indicator,
- Highly efficient series PWM charging increases battery life-span and makes for optimum performance of the system,
- The system uses an electronic switch - no bulky mechanical switches which are easily damaged,
- LED lights display battery voltage state,
- Automatic correction of charging and discharging parameters extends battery life,
- Reliable protection against overcharging, over discharging, overload and short-circuit,
- Reverse protection for battery,
- USB port provides 5V DC for onsite charging of various electronic devices.

WARNINGS AND LIMITATIONS OF THE CENTURION SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER 12V/24V 20A:
- Be very careful when working with batteries. Wear eye protection. Have fresh water available to wash and clean any contact with battery acid,
- Use insulated tools and avoid placing metal objects near the battery,
- Explosive battery gasses may be present during charging. Ensure that there is ventilation to release the gasses.
- Avoid direct sunlight and do not install the Centurion Solar Charge Controller 12/24V 20A in locations where water can enter the unit,
- Loose power connections and/or corroded wires may result in resistive connections that melt wire insulation, burn surrounding materials, or even cause fire. Ensure tight connections and use cable clamps to secure cables and prevent them from swaying in mobile applications,
- Use with Gel, Sealed or Flooded battery only,
- Battery connections may be wired to one battery or a bank of batteries,
- Select the system cables according to .5A / mm2 current density.
