PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Securi-Prod Roller Shutter Magnetic Contact NC is a magnetic contact used to detect the opening and closing of the roller shutter. The sensor functions using an internal reed switch in conjunction with a magnet. When engaged, it reads “closed” and, when the roller shutter is opened the magnet moves out of the sensor's range, and the sensor reports that the roller shutter is open.
It is commonly used in alarm systems to trigger an alert when an unauthorized entry is attempted. The magnetic contact can also be used in a commercial or industrial setting to automate the opening and closing of the roller shutter.
